Question 7 Answer - Our Opinion

No too long ago, depression era furniture was thought to be worthless. Probably by many of the folks who suffered through the depression. But, it is reasonable priced and if it is soft on the pocket book, that can be a good thing.

Depression era furniture dates between 1920 to early 1940s--not really antique, since it's not more than 100 years old yet. Maybe a little young for some collectors; it is certainly old enough to have a unique and old appearance. A character of sorts, and they are getting older every year.

In our experience, china and curio cabinets, especially with decorative glass and curved fronts are very popular. If you have a key to the lock, that's even a special bonus! We also sell a number of vanities both single and triple mirror. The adjustable mirror vanities usually are greater in value.

It's like so many things, let your personal style be your guide and happy hunting!
